These exercises will strengthen your core, improve your posture, and give you that toned look you’ve always wanted. So clear a space, grab your mat, and let’s dive into an ab-tastic workout!
Equipment:
- Yoga mat
- Light weights (optional)
- Water bottle
Workout:
- Plank
- Time: 1 minute
- Equipment: None
- Instructions: Start on your hands and knees, then lift your knees off the ground so you're balancing on your hands and toes. Keep your body in a straight line from head to heels. Hold for 1 minute.
- Bicycle Crunches
- Reps: 20 per side
- Equipment: None
- Instructions: Lie on your back, hands behind your head. Lift your legs off the ground and alternate bringing opposite elbows to knees in a pedaling motion.
- Russian Twists
- Time: 1 minute
- Equipment: Light weight (optional)
- Instructions: Sit on the ground with your knees bent and feet lifted. Lean back slightly and twist your torso from side to side, tapping the ground or weight beside you.
- Leg Raises
- Reps: 15
- Equipment: None
- Instructions: Lie on your back with your legs straight. Lift your legs towards the ceiling, keeping them straight, then slowly lower them back down without touching the ground.
- Mountain Climbers
- Time: 1 minute
- Equipment: None
- Instructions: Start in a plank position. Quickly bring one knee towards your chest, then switch legs, as if running in place.
